IKOL (ikol.online) is an independently run information observatory and research site. Contact: hkchenwang@gmail.com.
There are no accounts or forms, and we never ask for personal information.
Our pages carry no third-party tracking scripts and set no tracking cookies. We do not currently show ads.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical request data (such as IP address, browser type and time of visit) to deliver the service.
We read only daily aggregates from Cloudflare: requests, page views, visitor counts, countries or regions, and page paths. We do not receive or store information that identifies individuals.
We use these aggregates to see what people read and to improve our writing and the site.
Fonts are served by Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers when a page loads.
External links (official documents, news reports, videos) lead to third-party sites with their own privacy practices.
Videos in Vantage are hosted on YouTube. A video page loads only our own cover image; the YouTube player (youtube-nocookie.com) loads only after you click play, and Google's privacy policy then applies.
We have registered a Google AdSense account (ads.txt) for possible future use; we will update this policy before any ads are shown.
IKOL Publisher is our own internal tool. It is used only to upload videos to our own YouTube channel and to read our own channel's statistics (views, watch time and similar).
It does not access any other user's Google account or data, read messages, delete content or change channel settings. Data it retrieves stays on our own computer and is never sold or shared.
If this policy changes, we will update the date on this page. Questions: hkchenwang@gmail.com.
